Let's Talk Education III

Let’s Talk Education is a continuing series of television programs addressing the issues of education reform in the State of Washington. The first program aired in May '01 on over 19 cable, education and government stations across the state and the second in November on 17 stations.

The current program highlights:

• Best practices to improve student achievement

• Teachers talking about what is working in their schools

• Unique approaches in two distinctly different schools, one in central Washington and the other in the Puget Sound area

Dr. Terry Bergeson, Superintendent of Public Instruction will once again be joining host Vivian Philips on the program. This edition of Let's Talk Education includes several mini documentaries on the two schools that are taking innovative steps and choosing inventive methods to make standards work for their students.

The program is geared towards teachers across the state who will be notified of air times via mailings.

Let's Talk Education is sponsored by the Partnership for Learning and the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction. The program will run 35-45 minutes in length.
