Talk Education III
Lets
Talk Education is a continuing series of television programs addressing
the issues of education reform in the State of Washington. The first
program aired in May '01 on over 19 cable, education and government
stations across the state and the second in November on 17 stations.
The
current program highlights:
Best practices to improve student achievement
Teachers talking about what is working in their schools
Unique approaches in two distinctly different schools, one in central
Washington and the other in the Puget Sound area
Dr.
Terry Bergeson, Superintendent of Public Instruction will once again
be joining host Vivian Philips on the program. This edition of Let's
Talk Education includes several mini documentaries on the two
schools that are taking innovative steps and choosing inventive methods
to make standards work for their students.
The
program is geared towards teachers across the state who will be notified
of air times via mailings.
Let's Talk Education is sponsored by the Partnership for Learning
and the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction. The program
will run 35-45 minutes in length.
